Today I got my copy of the September Issue of the Greenville Business Magazine's "2014 Best & Brightest Under 35." I am extremely honored and humbled to be part of such a diverse group that loves Greenville as much as I do. I can't wait to celebrate this award with the other winners at the Awards Banquet at the end of September.
It is so exciting to be recognized, but it is even more of a blessing to be in a career that I love so much. I am abundantly thankful for each of my clients and the opportunity to help them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives! It is such a blessing to get to be part of the journey with you. The best is most certainly yet to come.
Here is my bio from the magazine:
Maggie Aiken, Age: 27, REALTOR, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, C. Dan Joyner REALTORS
As a Clemson graduate and former Microsoft Marketing Manager for SYNNEX Corp, Maggie took her knowledge of the business world with her when she joined C. Dan Joyner REALTORS in 2012. Since beginning her real estate career a year and a half ago, she has sold 63 houses, resulting in over $11.5M in sales revenue. Maggie quickly embraced the business, rising to #18 out of 270 Berkshire Hathaway agents in the upstate. Her success can be attributed to working hard to help Greenville residents buy the home of their dreams, and working creatively to market and move properties for her sellers. Following the death of company founder, C. Dan Joyner, due to heart disease-related issues, Maggie raised over $5,000 for the American Heart Association. She sits on the council for the United Way Young Philanthropists’ YP20 organization, volunteers weekly with The Gardens at Eastside Assisted Living, coaches church basketball, and is an active member of Grace Church.
Nominator quote: "Maggie is a quiet and humble person who does not contribute or share with others for the purpose of recognition, but rather because she wants to help others around her in all settings, personally and professionally."
And my company even did an ad in the magazine as a congratulations!
