Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner REALTORS Award Ceremony

We had our company's annual awards ceremony this week to celebrate all of the accomplishments from the previous year. I love this event, because it is a time to see agents that you don't normally get to see, or meet agents in person that you have done deals with in the past and celebrate.

It has been exactly 1 year since C. Dan Joyner REALTORS took the plunge and decided to leave the Prudential brand and affiliate with the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand. I am thankful to be part of a company with the vision that they have - and the willingness to take a risk, for the chance and hope of big reward. And boy was it the right decision! Berkshire Hathaway announced this week that the Berkshire Hathaway brand moved up to the #3 spot on Fortune Magazine's Most Admired Companies, just behind Apple and Google. That is a really big deal! And my office, the North Pleasantburg Office ranked among the most successful offices in the Berkshire Hathaway Brand (more to come on this after actual numbers are announced at the Sales Conference in March!) I think it's safe to say it was a good "move" on the C. Dan Joyner REALTORS executive team's part.

Anyways, back to the Awards Ceremony.  We had a surprise in store for the Awards Ceremony in the form of a Flash Mob - my mentor and best friend in the business, Melissa Morrell, alongside our Corporate Career Development Head, Teresa Cox, decided to get a group of us together to do a Flash Mob in the middle of the awards ceremony.  We brought the "Uptown Funk" and had so much fun dancing around and being silly. I love that this company knows how to work hard, but also equally knows how to have a good time.

Another surprise that came from the Awards Ceremony was when I was announced as the #3 Agent overall for BHHS C Dan Joyner REALTORS in 2014. I cannot begin to describe how humbling this award was. I truly had no idea, and was not prepared for that. Hard work really does pay off, but I also have been blessed beyond what I could have ever dreamed of in a career that I love. To be named one of the companies top agents among some really heavy hitters and long-time top producers was such an honor and something I will never forget.  I am so thankful for all of my clients and supporters in 2014. I could not have done it without you.

Then they announced that I was one of the Chairman's Circle Gold Award Winners, which is the Top 2% in the Network in the Nation.

Along with these awards, in 2014 I ran my very first half marathon in Richmond Virginia and was nominated to be part of the Berkshire Hathaway National REThink Council (2 year term). I cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store (hint - one big bucket-list-item that will be checked off this summer is a 14 day mission trip to Kenya! Africa here we come!)!

Yes I am too cheap to actually buy the prints :)
